William Word

Working with talent and in artist development is William Word, Vice President. Before joining The Celeb Group, William honed his skills at La Cosa Nostra Management & The Mogul Group overseeing the booking of Artists and Artist showcases.

His portfolio included T.I., Keri Hilson, LL Cool J, Yung Joc, Big Boi, Trey Songz, Monica, Rick Ross, Young Jezzy, Faith, Lloyd, and R. Kelly, along with other well-known R&B/Hip Hop artists. In gospel, he’s worked with Yolanda Adams, Tye Tribbett and Shirley Caesar in the Gospel genre.

Previously, William was Director of Operations for The Perfect Treatment, Inc., a full service agency and marketing firm. William oversaw day-to-day operations, including artist development, advertising campaigns, promotion, and celebrity endorsements. He represented Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris), Mary J. Blige, Pink, and Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model, to name a few.

A business management major at Wayne State University, William served as Vice President of the Michigan Music Retail Association, dealing with national record distributors. Through his strong relationship with the USO & MWR arranged for R&B, Hip Hop and Gospel Artists to perform for U.S. Armed Forces serving in Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Japan, Paris and Europe.
